My Motherhood!

Still I can feel the moment when first time I heard your heart bit, my dear little one! I was thrilled, but felt very happy that I was  going to be a part of those fortunate women, who can create a life! Slowly and steadily I was attached with you. In every moment I was talking to you, to welcome you in my and mine hubby's life! Then the most awaited day came.... I could hear your voice,  see you and  touch you sweet heart! It was Sep 22nd 2005, you made your debute on this earth's platform and became a part of our life. Your dad was so worried about you. He was on walker, couldn't  walk properly. Even though he went to temple to pray for you, my child. Then the moment came -  you felt secured in mine warm arms. You were attached to me  before coming on this earth! I can still feel those unforgetable moments -  when first you looked at me, hold my...

An Experience with Nature –IV

Final Destination On the 6 th day of our journey, we moved towards our last destination - Jithang. Our trek was not too tough but we faced landslide on our route.   We were told to walk in groups, not alone. By this we could help each other in any difficult situation. I wondered to view the beauty of nature! God has created haven far away from human civilization! On one side of our route river Magochu was running with its full current and on other side the almighty mountain was standing with proud!   We reached Jithang by afternoon. The Almighty Mountains were covered with snow. In the night we arranged a fireplace near our tents. The sky was so clean and the stars were twinkled like diamonds. I imagined myself in fairyland! Next morning we enjoyed the sunrise through the mountains.   It was an unforgettable moment in my life forever! After having breakfast we decided to explore the mountains. We had lot of fun at high altitude and by lunch time we returned bac...

An experience with Nature – III

The beautiful landscape and the innocent villagers After a long rest day at Thimbu, our leaders decided to move towards our next destination the day after. It was Mago, the last Indian village on our route. Since it was still raining slightly, we had to mentally prepare to face any difficulty during our journey. But fortunately it was a beautiful morning! After continuous raining of two days, the sun welcomed us with a smile. It was a wonderful day and the mountain looked so fresh after the rain and thunder storm. This time I could manage to reach our camp little bit early. During my journey, I was alone for sometime or sometime I was with my friends…. Walking through the almighty jungle, I enjoyed the awesome nature. Viewed the topography of the mountain, the rocks and tried to understand the language of nature! Felt like I was in a dreamland…. My surrounding was so peaceful! I reached my camp alone before darkness. We went to visit the village in the evening. The villagers were so i...

An Experience with Nature – II

Another adventure with Rain and Thunderstorm at the mountain I knew our adventure was going to be toughest in the coming days. Next morning we moved towards our second destination Thimbu. The weather was gloomy. We started our journey in four groups. As I was very slow on first day, our Team Leader said the other members to be with me all the time. Because our trek was going to be tough this time and the weather was also not very suitable for us. I started my journey with Hiranmayee and senior member Ms. Bhumika. Altogether we enjoyed the beautiful landscape of the mountain jungle on our way. After lunch time, it started raining. After some time, thunder storm also started at the mountain. We were told to walk fast to avoid the thunderstorm. Because of the rain, our trek had become very slippery. I found it a tough job to walk fast on the stiff and slippery trek along with my heavy Rucksack on my back. This time our Team Leader was himself with me along with senior member Ms. Bhumika a...

A night in the deep jungle of mountain I was walking alone through the deep blue jungle. It was a full moon night and the jungle was awesome in the moonlight; I was astonished watching the dark beauty of the jungle.   A trekking camp was conducted by the Assam Mountaineering Association to Jithang, a base camp of the Garishion peak of Arunachal Himalaya Mountain Range in the month of October in 1996.   In a beautiful morning we started our journey to Tezpur, from where we would go to Tawang District of Arunachal Pradesh to start our trekking expedition to Jithang.
